This painting is one of the first few paintings in Danya’s new series of artworks. She combined the abstract elements with the descriptive visual to achieve an imaginary image. Danya made the lights to be abstract elements, they were painted in geometrical shapes and placed in a scattered manner. It is also in the painting that she was trying to portray the mood of a bustling city. Besides the usual city structures, there is also an inclusion of a symbol from the Hunger Games story to convey how some city dwellers are competing, surviving and coping in the city system.
