Wang Mo Ping
Veggie Galore
Oil on Canvas
100x100cm
2023

This oil painting features an array of vegetables, such as broccoli, tomatoes, chili peppers, garlic, carrots and cabbage brought to life with a rich palette of colours. The broccoli’s intricate florets display mesmerising hues of green, the tomatoes exhibit a glossy, enticing red and the fiery red of the chili peppers add a touch of spice to the composition. Coupled with the interplay of light and shadow that enhances the realism, the vegetables appear almost edible.

This artwork celebrates the beauty and diversity found in nature’s bounty, inviting viewers to appreciate the simple yet intricate details of everyday ingredients.
