This full sheet watercolour painting depicts a scene of Chinatown in Singapore. The gentle baby blue colour of the sky. the vibrant red lanterns and the crowded atmosphere are all beautifully expressed. The inclusion of the street vendor with his iconic umbrellas is a heartwarming touch to the painting which makes it uniquely Chinatown.
