82 years old this year, Mr Eng Siak Loy is a famous sculptor, designer and artist. Numerous public sculptures designed by Mr Eng can be found at the Singapore Botanic Gardens and Gardens by the Bay.
He is also well known for painting nostalgic scenes of Chinatown and Singapore River with his iconic angular brushstroke in the oil medium.
