Mandarin Ducks (鸳鸯 Yuan Yang in chinese) symbolises love and passion between partners in Chinese culture and Feng Shui. They are always seen pairs, habituating in couples, and they do not seek a new partner when the other passes. Therefore, in Feng Shui, the species of Mandarin Ducks symbolises undying devotion, adoration, loyalty and everlasting romance.

Nai Swee Leng went to the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, where he spent three years studying Western and Chinese Art, he was already a gifted pupil of Fan Chang Tien. Nai Swee Leng was attached to the Shanghai School and decided to continue his studies in brush painting with Fan for several years. Nai Swee Leng exhibited widely in solo and group exhibitions, helped found the Molan Art Association and is presently the advisor.
