This impressive expression of the old Singapore River was completed in 2021 by Lim Tze Peng. It was in 2021 that the well known artist created several monumental paintings of nostalgic scenes of the Singapore River and Chinatown which were filled with strong colours and vibrant ink tones. It was also in 2021 that Lim Tze Peng launched a publication focusing on his life as an artist titled “Soul of Ink” at the Arts House in Singapore.
